December 21-lunch with a friend

Well, I am currently very alone on campus. So one of my friends called me and invited me out lunch with them today. It was so nice to go spend some time with these two friends that I had not seen in a while. Lunch was a blast! We laughed and talked for hours! When it was time for the bill, my friend refused to let me pay. What a nice gesture! I decided to turn that one random act into another random act! I decided to take the money I had set aside to buy my lunch and gave it to our waitress as a tip. I wrote on the back of one of the receipts "Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Pay it forward :-)" I left the money there with the other tip money from my friend and we left. I hope it made her day. Merry Christmas!
