December 7 & 8-need a jump?

Wow, first of all I apologize for my tardiness. This week has been fianals week for me and it has been very hard to find time to not only do my random act, but also write abut them. So, now that finals are all over for me I'm going to tell you about the last few days.
I believe in a very big God! And during these last few days I asked him to put me in the right place at the right time for my random act. Well, he has most certainly done that!
On December 7th, I was walking to my car in a parking lot where there were only 2 cars. As I go to get in my car I see this man. I was in a hurry, but as he began to walk up to me I stopped. He asked me if I could give him a jump. He began to tell me that he was starting a new job today and was giong to be late. He said he had been waiting outside for Tripple A for almost an hour and didn't want to lose the oppotunity of this new job. Even though I was busy and could possibly be late myself I knew I had to help him out. I of ourse said sure! It took a while (I mean his car was REALLLLY dead), but eventually we got his car going. He was so excited, he tried to pay me for my "wasted" time when I helped him. I said no thanks and refused to take the money. I simply said, Merry Christmas instead! It was a great feeling to see him get in his car and ride away.
Similarly on December 8th, I was in my local union parking lot where another student was trying to get home. Again, I was sort of already late for a meeting but I stopped and gave him a jump too. He was a lot less emotional. Except it is finals week so he was pretty stressed. Once his car was running again he hoped in and left. He didn't say thank you or anything, but that was fine by me. I was just glad that I could help him get rid of a stressful event. I know finals can get the best of people, and I'm just glad that I was there to help him out.
